Introduction to the Diana Event
Diana is a Mayor in Hypixel Skyblock that people use to farm money or to craft the Griffin Pet.
For regular players, the most profit is usually earned by getting a lot of ancient feathers. However, for Ironman players, this is the only way to obtain the ultra rare Chimera enchantment.
Diana Profit Calculator
Use the ledgers below to estimate profit per hour. The calculator is designed around expected value (EV), so short sessions can swing higher or lower than the long-run average.

Reading the ledgers
The first ledger is your input + high-level EV snapshot. The next ledger breaks down what you’re actually “earning” from mob mix, treasure pulls, and rare drops.
This gap is intentionally a normal content block (not a calculator widget) so Journey has a clean place to insert between the ledgers.

Why the EV looks “too high” sometimes
Rare drops are spiky. EV compresses a lot of “nothing happens” into a smooth hourly number. The next section shows the exact burrow counts, spawn expectations, and value formula used.
This is another deliberate normal-content gap so Journey has an obvious insertion boundary between the loot ledger and the math section.

Before you start:
- The numbers in this tool are best guesses
- They are probably not 1-1 to a real life situation
- Over 1000 hours, the profit is pretty much the same.
Generally, the mayor is pretty profitable for flippers as well.
How Burrows and Griffin Rarity Affect Profit
During Mayor Diana’s Mythological Ritual, profit comes from burrow treasure and mythological mob drops. You dig Griffin Burrows in the Hub using a mythological spade, with a Griffin Pet equipped.
In Mythological Ritual v2, burrows spawn in chains. The first burrow is always an arrow, and later burrows are 75% mob and 25% treasure.
Chain length matters because it increases total loot rolls. Base chain length is 4, but spade tier and the Erudite reforge extend it.
Spade tier also drives the treasure table, so your spade has a direct impact on per-chain value. Use the spade dropdown in the calculator to match your spade and toggle Erudite if you have it.
Griffin rarity affects which mobs you can spawn and how often rarer mobs appear. Higher rarity improves Tracking for elusive mobs like Minos Inquisitor, Sphinx, Manticore, and King Minos.
Those elusive spawns are where many of the biggest paydays come from. They can drop valuable items used in crafts or sold for coins.
Pre-run reminders:
- Your speed matters a lot.
- Gotta go fast.
- Seriously. Cover distance.
Being able to kill the mythological creatures quickly will help a ton as well.
Spade effects in Mythological Ritual (v2)
All three spades do the same core job: you must hold the spade to see burrows, and you use Echo (right-click) to point to the next or nearby burrow.
What changes between spades is the maximum burrows per chain, Echo cooldown, and the treasure table.
Spade effect comparison table
| Effect | Ancestral (T1) | Archaic (T2) | Deific (T3) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Max chain length (base) | 4 | 6 | 8 |
| Max chain length (with Erudite +2) | 6 | 8 | 10 |
| Echo cooldown | 3s | 2s | 1s |
Erudite is applied via Daedalus' Notes and always adds +2 burrows to the chain.
Treasure table (this is the big profit difference)
In v2, treasure burrow drops depend on which spade tier you excavate with.
| Treasure drop | Ancestral (T1) | Archaic (T2) | Deific (T3) |

Common Diana Questions (Fast Answers)
Q: "What if I only have an uncommon Griffin?"
A: There is a dropdown for every rarity in the tool.
Q: "I don't have a daedalus axe. What now?"
A: You have to fill in your burrows per hour and your Magic Find.
Q: "The profit per hour is way lower/higher than I expected."
A: If the numbers don't match, you should adjust the burrows per hour.
Before You Farm
- Try to get a very high Magic Find
- Get a Booster Cookie and God Potion (obviously)
- Get the best possible spade and Griffin pet
After The Session
- If you have a mod for it, note down your burrows per hour.
- Compare the numbers to see if you're on track.
Comprehensive Diana Profit Calculator
This calculator estimates coins per hour from four inputs: Griffin rarity, spade tier, burrows per hour, and Magic Find. It uses a 90% fight chance on burrow 2 and 3, plus the max chain length from your spade (and Erudite) to convert your pace into expected fights and treasure pulls.
Mob weights come from Griffin rarity, while treasure tables come from the selected spade. Output is valued with live Bazaar and Auction House prices. You can override any drop chance or price in the advanced assumptions panel to match your setup.
Why Burrow Pace Matters
Burrow pace is the engine of the model.
Burrows per hour controls how many chains you finish. The model uses chains = burrowsPerHour / burrowsPerChain, where burrowsPerChain comes from your spade (4/6/8) plus +2 if you have Erudite.
Each chain yields mobBurrows = chains * 2 * 0.9 expected fights and treasureBurrows = chains * (1 + 2 * 0.1) expected treasures. If your pace is off, every value scales with it.
What Loot Comes From Burrows?
Two loot streams feed the model:
- Mob burrows: base coins and Ancient Claws per kill, plus rare drops like Daedalus Stick (Minotaur family) and Inquisitor exclusives such as Chimera, Dwarf Turtle Shelmet, Crochet Tiger Plushie, and Enchanted Ancient Claw.
- Treasure burrows: feather rolls, coin bags, and extra treasure items based on your spade. Epic and Legendary can also roll Crown of Greed, and Legendary can roll a Washed-up Souvenir.
All drops are priced with live Bazaar and Auction House data unless you override them.
How Does the Inquisitor Weight Bonus Work?
Toggle Enderman Slayer 9 to apply a +15% multiplier to the Exalted Minos Inquisitor weight. The other mob weights stay the same, so the bonus adds inquisitor spawns instead of redistributing weight.
How Are Treasure Tables Modeled?
Each spade has a fixed feather chance and coin bag odds, plus extra treasure items at higher tiers. The calculator computes the expected coin value per treasure by summing coinValue * coinChance for the selected spade and multiplying by your treasure burrows. Epic and Legendary treasure still add special roll assumptions for Crown of Greed and, on Legendary, Washed-up Souvenir.
How Are Rare Drop Assumptions Used?
Rare drops are modeled with expected value math: expected = trials * chance * (1 + MF/100) * quantity, where trials are the eligible mob kills or treasure burrows.
Defaults in the calculator:
- Daedalus Stick 0.15% on Minotaur-family mobs.
- Chimera 0.25%, Shelmet 5%, Plushie 6%, Enchanted Ancient Claw 20% on Inquisitor.
- Crown of Greed 0.12% (Epic) / 0.39% (Legendary).
- Washed-up Souvenir 0.39% (Legendary).
Override any of these in the advanced assumptions panel.
How Does Magic Find Affect the Model?
Magic Find only scales rare drop chances. Each rare drop chance is multiplied by 1 + MF/100; mob weights, base coins, feathers, and coin bag odds are unchanged.
Where Do I Find the Mob Weights?
The mob weights are sourced from the Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki snapshot and stored in diana.js under MOB_TABLES. The tables below list the weights and base mob drops for each rarity so you can audit or copy them.
Where do I find the table values?
Mob weights live in diana.js under MOB_TABLES. Spade treasure tables live under SPADE_TABLES, and special treasure rolls (Crown of Greed, Washed-up Souvenir) live under TREASURE_SPECIALS_BY_RARITY. The expandable tables below include mob tables by rarity and treasure tables by spade.
But why the extra step? Here are the tables:

Quick Start
- Pick a Griffin rarity.
- Pick your spade tier.
- Enter your pace.
- Set your odds.
- Check the output.
Read the result: Profit per hour is total EV (item value + coin drops). Use the rare drop EV and burrow split lines to see how much of the total relies on rares versus steady drops.
Tips:
- Use your real burrows-per-hour from a session; pace is the biggest lever.
- Toggle Enderman Slayer 9 only if you have it, since it only affects inquisitor odds.
- Override drop chances or prices if the defaults do not match your setup or market.
